The Mary Beth is a completely renovated former husk of a building located on the historic strip where jazz was born. The property is imbued with new artistry: from the reimagined architecture to the antique museum-grade flooring to the local art that graces its walls. Located in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the Mary Beth Hotel and Gallery adds a new type of traveler experience for arts and culture enthusiasts. The hotel’s developer Robert X. Fogarty gave the Mary Beth its name as a tribute to his mother, an American artist who died in 2002 leaving behind more than 1000 original works. Enjoy the murals adorning the large skylight-covered stairwells or reflect on the life-affirming essays from Son of a Ghost works while you stay in our townhouse-style units.
